Dog Collars, Like The Ones That Greyhounds Usually Ware?

A reader asked..
I have been looking for the really neat that most Greyhound owners seem to have on there dog.
The collar is thick wide and I don’t think the collar has a clasp or a buckel, at least I don’t think they do.
If anyone knows what I am talking about, please direct me to an online store that may sell them or to a Greyhound rescue that may sell them.
Thanks

Martingale collar. You can get them in most pet stores, or search internet for martingale collar.
Sometimes the greyhound collars are REALLY thick — like 2 inches wide. Though my lab wears a martnngale that is 1 inch wide.

Search for Martingale Collars. Greyhound use them because their Head is actually smaller than their neck so they can easily slip out of them.

Martingales as everyone has already stated, I have Italian Greyhounds, although much smaller than their cousins the ‘Greyts’, they are equally nice on my guys!

I think what your talking about is called a Martingale collar.
This is the place I get all my collars, they are handmade and VERY sturdy, plus I get to pick everything that goes on it.http://www.collarmania.com/

There used to be an ebay seller who made beautiful and comfortable sighthound collars. Most of the collars had swarovski crystals and faux fur trim. However, I can’t seem to find her anymore. I’m hoping she will turn up again…you could search ebay. Other favorites are:http://www.desertraven.com/ (I’ve seen pictures of his leather collars…*gorgeous*!)http://www.siriusenterprises.com/http://www.el-hor.de/hauptseite_eng.htmhttp://www.longdogleather.com/index.cfm?…http://www.dogcollars.net/saluki.html
