In the early 1900's this breed actually had a longer snout, but with the advent of the trampoline Boston Terrier's became the flat-faced canines that we know today.

I was sure that my BT was flat faced B/C he did the same on the bed or the sofa. I'm a little worried for its safety in being on the trampoline and landing on the ground hard.

Holy crap! That's remarkable. But at the same time, could be very dangerous. A Boston I take care of has some back and neck problems; one wrong move here, and ouch! big time.
