Sorry for your loss I lost my dog four months ago he was a pameramian. The sheltie I had before him would get car sick. My great uncles shelties did too.
hunter looks very similar to my rockey (my old sheltie dog that has been gone for 10 years now) except rockey had a deeper bark lol but he was so sweet very much like hunter

Hope he gets over his fear of car rides. My Sheltie Butterscotch is also scared of car rides, unless he is coming home from a vet visit or grooming.
I have had shelties for 30 years. I bred them for a while and my last sheltie looks just like Hunter…like so much like him! Do you know where he came from? How old is he now?
my female sheltie is scared since she had 2 months, she is scared about many people, about big dogs, about any noise, sometimes If you go to put her she pisses submission, or if my brother is near her and touch her she pisses also, she's very clever, but It's sad that beautiful female has that weak character, my male is very strong and brave, he is the leader of my 4 dogs, the first time he saw sheeps in the mount with shepherd (I know him) it was impressive, he started barking and chasing them, he gathered all in a circle, with my female, the sheeps approached her, she was very scared, she started to bark, with fear, the sheeps where smelling her, and she pissed, was the contrary of male, between my shelties, they love much, It's very tender look them together, the female is ever following the male, my other dogs are ever in their way
I had a sheltie who insisted on riding in the bed of the truck so he could bark at cars with the wind in his fur. Never jumped out in his 12 years of living.
I now have a sheltie named Hunter.
