Wow he looks so nice 🙂 I don't get my sheltie's fur groomed and cut professionally…or by me for that matter, cause the breeders we got her at was for size not beauty, so she's really small but has really thin fur for a sheltie, but I love her anyways :). Also I have a sheltie , who has one year and seven months . I' m going to go to the exhibition . This will be my first exhibition and I do not know too much how to prepare : / Maybe you know how to prepare? 🙂 Because I see that you have beautiful dogs and probably walk to the exhibition , yes 😉 ? For me, the problem is that my dog is often shag , and behind the ears has faded dingy : / Another problem is that it probably has too flagged ears 🙁 Do you know how to fix this? I ask because I see that your dog has a beautifully protruding ears : D I have a few questions , and I apologize in advance that so many ; ) what do you use for hair care and recommend what food to the dog was very thin as yours? :)
I'm in Scotland and wouldn't cut my shelties hair around his ears. I was always told the tips of the ear should bend over to win prizes.
Very informative. After you have finished trimming the ears for the show ring and they are standing up, add some lead powder, and cover it up with brown chalk and go over the tips with a black sharpie. Seen it done by lots of handers.
