It is true that the breeder, who posed as a serious dogbreeder, turned out to be a conartist and disappeared after the puppy's death (from an illness she was born with, it turned out). I guess you become very naive when you, like us in Sweden, don't come across backyard breeders very often.

Sorry you lost your Sheltie. We have had 5, all raised from puppies, four have crossed the rainbow bridge. All of them loved to play with our cats. Our last dog and cats love to play.
