Gentle husky’s sorrowful howl at California shelter hauntingly lonely

A volunteer at the Baldwin Animal Care Center in California spiritually connected with a two-year-old female Siberian husky brought in as a stray on December 15. He listened as her lonely howl, reminiscent of the outdoors, now only echoed through the concrete walls of the shelter.
