my first 2 dogs….
Hey just wondering if anyone has a pomeranian at what age did they start to
bark or “yip”? I have a 5 month old one and she has barked a little and I
corrected her not to once and now she hasn’t really barked that much
since.

i think i like the bigger Pomeranian’s better (0:53) but the small ones
are cute too.
I think these producers need to brush up more on their breeds. I’ve read
that Pomeranians have such a dense coat that, in fact, they do not need
daily grooming unlike a thick-coated Persian cat. Once a week should be
enough. Tracheal collapse is another health condition that may or may not
become serious in Poms and other small breeds, something not mentioned in
this video. Pom owners back me up.
For me, this is too much cuteness. And I don’t mean it in a positive way.

Needs attention is right, my pom is really lazy though and doesn’t really
“yap”, he has more of a deep bark
We got our pom when she was just 8 weeks old. The night we got her, we set
up a playpen with dog bed, some toys, food and water bowl, and pee pad. We
are delighted to see that at that age, she’s already using the pee pad to
do her business. We enrolled her in puppy kindergarten class where she
learned basic obedience and socialization. We were also taught how to train
her and handle her when she’s doing a behavior, so that she’ll grow into a
well-behaved dog. She’s now 6 months. She’s very playful and friendly with
people and other dogs. She loves to lick and give kisses to people. She’s a
great watch dog, but she only barks when someone is at the gate. She’s a
smart, affectionate, and happy dog. The key is patience and constant
training.

My pomeranian died 3 weeks ago. Miss her dearly
