Tia and 24 puppies
When Tia, a Neapolitan mastiff in Manea, United Kingdom, gave birth to 24 puppies, they have made two new world records including the biggest litter and that of the most surviving puppies. Actually, breeder Damian Ward and his girlfriend, Anne Kellegher previously hoped their two-year-old dog born a maximum of 10 puppies after a scan from one local veterinarian.

Bull Dog Kaiser and 20 puppies
The next massive dog family belongs to Kaiser, an American Bull Dog. She gave birth to a total of 20 puppies in New Barnet, Hertfordshire. Her owner, Kerry New seemed to be very surprised at this phenomenon because the average number would be 10.

Terrie and 18 puppies
Terrie, a four-year-old Rottweiler, managed to give birth to 18 puppies but two of them died two days after they were born. The 10 female and six male pups mostly lived in the lounge of owner Nicolette Morris. At nine days old, they opened their eyes and drank 1.5oz of milk every four hours.

Etana and 17 puppies
A German dog called Rhodesian Ridgeback gave birth to 17 cute puppies including eight female and nine male ones on Sept. 28 in Ebereschenhof near Berlin. Fortunately, all of them incredibly survived. The owner Wegemann, an animal psychiatrist, felt exhausted when she had to feed them with a bottle for several weeks.
