QUEENS, N.Y. (WABC) —
An injured dog was found on a busy Queens street after apparently being tossed from a vehicle.
The Rottweiler was found at Cypress Avenue and Vermont Place at around 10:30 p.m.
Firefighters responded to calls to take care of the dog.
The dog was taken to BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Forest Hills, Queens, for treatment.
Workers said they did not think the injuries were life threatening.
