Unfortunately no. Short haired breeds tend to shed more (that’s why their hair stays short). However, frequent brushing with a shedding brush (you can buy at your local pet store) should help minimize the problem. Also, many short haired breeds only blow their coat twice a year (when the shedding is the worst). Breeds that don’t shed typically have large grooming needs.
