Question by Tracy: Is there such a dog as a Belgian German Shepherd?
I know there is a German Shepherd and a Belgian Malinois. My friend has a black German Shepherd and she calls him a Belgian German Shepherd. I haven’t been able to find anything about a Belgian German Shepherd on the internet. Just want to make sure.

Is this possibly another name for the “King” shepherd breed? They are a hybrid of German Shepherds named for their enormous size…

No.
There are 4 varieties of Belgian shepherd:

The German shepherd is a distinct breed, not considered a Belgian breed.

A dog can be one or the other or a mix of the two, but there is no “German Belgian Shepherd” breed.
Could be a mix of a malinois & GSD, or a belgian shepherd. There is no belgian german shepherd
There’s a Belgian Sheepdog – it kind of looks like a long-haired GSD.

NO!!!!!!!!!
There are GSD bred in Belgium…& Spain & everywhere.
There **IS** a real/recognized breed called BELGIAN SHEEPDOG & it must only be black….& is NOT a GSD.
I think there is. One of my bosses has a belgian shepherd mix, cause I had never heard of it before.
Probably just a mix between the two
