My sister is adopting a “” from the shelter. They are saying it is purebred. But I dont think so. It but I was just curious. He looks fullbred but he has ice blue eyes like a . Is it for to have blue eyes?? Thanks!

    Sorry, ALL German Shepherds have brown eyes. Sounds like it’s a mix but that the shape and coloring are heavy on the GSD identification so they’re calling it a German Shepherd. Even white GSDs don’t have blue eyes.

    People in shelters just take guesses as to what’s in the background of the dogs that come in. No purebred GSD has blue eyes.

    Probably mixed, but I saw a black Lab with ice blue eyes. It could have Husky or a herding type Breed mixed.
    If it`s from a Shelter it`s most possibly mixed.

    I have never seen a purebred German Shepperd with blue eyes.if I was your sister I’d take the dog to the vet or a breeder and ask them
