Name: Sylvia Oglesby

Job: Owner, SmartyPaws Dog Training & Sports at 6966 W. Main St. in (558-8500)

Outlook: “I just really like to help dogs. I like to help them have fun, feel better and to do what they need to do to be better dogs and have a better life.”

Dog Sylvia Oglesby has recently relocated her business to Belleville last month. Oglesby brings 16 years of experience to her SmartyPaws Dog Training & Sports Center. She will host an orientation meeting for new students at 4:30 on Saturday. She recently talked to business writer Will Buss about her services:

A: “We do a socialization class. I call it ‘puppy kindergarten.' That's when the dogs come in and we let them off leash and teach their parents all about body language and learn how to play. We see how some of these dogs are interacting with other dogs. You don't have that if you don't go through a at an early stage in their life.”

Q: Why not?

A: “When I was going out to so many homes, three or four homes a day, and I'd get there and the dog was seven or eight months old, and the dog would be barking at me or barking at other dogs. The people would tell me, ‘We don't want this dog anymore. We're going to give it away.' And I said that's because you never socialized the dog. I have naturally slanted eyes and used to sport the “cat eye liner” because I read in magazines that you *have* to follow your natural eye shape to an imaginary line to the eyebrows back in the days, but when I got told that that eyeliner made me look “evil” I slowly started to change it up >.< :(( now I use more like the puppy eyes although ppl sometimes tell me I look sad........ x.x anyone else have these problems s:?

Lol, gyarus and Ulzzangs should just be for Asians xP It suits them best. American’s makeup style is very good too. And I’ve always wanted puffy eyes, but I believe they work best on people with naturally flat waterlines. Man, people who look naturally dolly are so lucky.
