NIAGARA falls, N.Y. (WIVB) – Around-the-clock care was not enough to save a severely emaciated puppy found at a home in niagara falls.
The Niagara County SPCA reports Jonah, a 7-week-old Labrador retriever mix puppy, died late Wednesday evening at Central Park Animal Hospital.

Jonah and his mother, Nellie, as well as another adult dog were removed from the lower apartment at a home on 12 Street this past Sunday. Jonah and Nellie were extremely emaciated.
The SPCA says both dogs were given immediate medical attention, and though Nellie began to recover, Jonah's condition worsened. In an attempt to help Jonah regain strength, he was fed with a tube, but the intervention didn't come soon enough and the damage could not be reversed. Jonah passed away late Wednesday night.
His mother and the other dog, Dorian, remain at the SPCA as authorities work on obtaining a warrant for their owner, who will face three counts of animal cruelty.

This pup is awesome! I bought this for my wife as a surprise gift and WOW! She was so excited when she walked in the room and saw the puppy sitting on the bed facing her. Point being, the pup is cute, made my wife happy, which made me happy. The price isn’t bad and its just the right size. Perfect!

|Mom’s new puppy,
Toys aren’t for kids any more. My mother is 86 and has dementia/Alzheimer’s. She spends hours talking to her furry little friends and they are a great comfort to her while I’m away at work. The Aurora plush puppies are especially soft, huggable and realistic. The PlayfulPlush Toy staff have been very nice to work with. We had a little shipping glitch, but they went out of their way to remedy it. They seem to care about little old ladies who love puppies as much as kids. Thanks.
