Article by Marc Thornton If you have selected to have your pet cremated and the remains to be positioned in an urn then you have quite possibly imagined about what sort of container would work best for you. When deciding on an urn you will find that there are several alternatives for pet urns
Russ Berrie Rustic Urn,
I looked at so many urns but couldn’t find one that I was comfortable with. I didn’t want a wooden box sitting on my mantle as I thought it was sort of depressing. I did like the fact that many had a place for a photo, though. Finally, I came across this crock type resin urn. I loved it right away as it was warm and rustic. I also like the fact that it came with a tag that could be engraved with the dog’s name. The tag would then hang on the front of the urn. I ordered it and received it today. I am very pleased with the quality of my purchase! Actually…the picture doesn’t do it justice. The colors are warm, the style endearing, and the weight perfect.I decided to put my dog’s original tag on the urn though for now and it worked perfectly. I’m going to place a small picture of my dog near it. The only thing I wish it had was a rubber ring to secure the lid more. It sits nicely, but I think a ring would have possibly sealed it. I would recommend this urn, though, and would buy it again! It’s different from all the others and was exactly what I was looking for.
