Breed Description

Their coat color comes in black or red tri-color, red or blue merle and black; all of which have white or tan markings.

Activity

The energetic Miniature requires long walks on a daily basis. This little breed requires a great deal of vigorous exercise to keep fit, or better yet, a real job to work on.

Temperament

The Miniature Australian Shepherd is a hardworking breed that is eager to work. They are fun-loving, and playful. Although they are easily trained, their intelligence and drive may call for obedience training with a lot of interesting activities. If given a job to do such as companionship or guarding. The Miniature Australian Shepherd is relatively easy to train. They are among of the easiest breeds to housebreak, and are clean and neat. Even as puppies, they stay with their owners at all costs and will quickly pick up on what pleases their family. They will work hard to keep their family members happy, and always eager to follow commands and tasks. They also love thinking and solving problems, and will do great playing games such as hide and seek with their favorite toys.

Commonly named as Mini Aussie, this medium-sized breed is hardy and sturdy. They are agile, and well-balanced, with great stamina and strength. Highly versatile, this breed is very intelligent, makes an excellent companion, and a talented worker and guardian.
