Question by Baseballer04: What of ear cleaner for ?
I have 2 Golden’s and we use the vet ear cleaner$ . I’m looking for something as not a$ pricey and effective.

Answer by Easter Eggs
i use a q-tip and don’t stick it in the actual ear. i just clean the wax that builds up in the little folds of the outer ear.

i wouldn’t risk messing up the dog’s ear with a DIY… just like you probably wouldn’t risk it on yourself.

Mineral Oil. Use it outside, pour some into 1 ear at a time, use the folds of the ear to work it in for a few seconds then let the dog shake it out. In a while, do the same with the other ear.

Honestly? Cotton balls/Cotton pads and saline solution should be plenty. Q-tips for the crevices, but don’t enter the ear canal with them or you risk rupturing the ear drum.
