I'm testing my new Tri-tronics Sport G3 e-collar. Wouldn't put it on my dog unless I knew it worked, and what it does. I'm sure there are reasons, and situations the highest levels would be used, and now I have an understanding of what those levels could feel like to a dog. I bought from GunDogsOnline.com. I would look for any kind of leather worker in your area. I know, for example, there is a harley davidson in my shop where the owner makes a lot of custom leather vests and such. I think that would be your best bet

Ever put a 9v battery to your tounge… we’ll that’s like a 2.5 on this collar. I have yet to use it on a 2. The highest it’s gone is 1.5, depending on how tight the collar is.
a dogs is not a person it is a DOG if you think a dog worring is inhumane you need to go hunting with some people ive seen if they dont like their dog or it dont do good they will shoot it so this is nothing and a great way to teach a dog dont do that…..
This video is amusing. I have the same collar for my dog, and it certainly isn’t inhumane as others have suggested. I have tried it as high as level 3.5 on myself, and it sure isn’t comfortable at that level. BUT, I’ve yet to need to go above 2.5 to get my dog’s attention.
I have an 85lb German Shepherd / Akita, and I can nearly guarantee she has a greater pain tolerance than the average person. But, the collar is more of a “tap them on the shoulder to get their attention” thing.
It’s about getting their attention and training, not about causing harm. Thanks for taking the pain so I know where to start.
Yeup. I use it on 1.5 or the 3rd level, however you want to look at it, on my dog. When she first started .5 or was enough, she’s 2 now, and seems too ignore .5 and 1 sometimes.
I ended up exchaning mine for a modle that has the ‘Pager’ function (vibrates). My 2yr old dislikes it that the vibration is all that’s ever been needed.
I bet that’s all my dog would need. On the setting I use this on, it feels must like a vibration anyway.
