Question by buttons: How can you train a dog to lay in a dog bed ?
I have a 4 month old puppy and he chews his toys on my couch and leaves wet spots it's just gross,I have a blanket over the cushions to help with the spots and I wash the blanket 3-4 times a week to keep it from smelling,but I want to get a dog bed just for him so if he wants to chew he can have his own space and not worry about him messing up my couch any helpful tips?

no.if its not comfortable the dog is not going to lay on it
well everytime you see him on the couch put him in his dog bed and yell at him and tell him this is where you sleep. then everytime he goes in his own bed encourage him and say good boy.

If the dog is bothering you ON the couch….Get him off the couch anytime that he attempts to jump up. Get a leash on him….and say “OFF”..
Why is that so complicated?
Such a British style lawn, as I grew up in Pakistan with. My Dad, now deceased, was an an engineer in the Irrigation Department. Most of the officers’ residences were on huge estates with rolling lawns, an army of servants and gardeners, etc.
