I CAN NOT afford the vet right now, so is there anything over the counter that will work? and not make the infection worse? Can i give my dog human ear infection medicine or antibiotic?

There are different types of ear infections that dogs can get. I would not advise you to give your pet some medication that could be the wrong one, it might make your dog sick.
Some vets will let you make payments. Ask your friends If they know of a vet in your area that will do that, and perhaps ask if they could donate 2 to 5 dollars toward the vet bill. If they do not know of one then start calling vets from the phone book.
My daughter has worked for different vets while putting herself through college. She told me how some of the vets will accept payments. She also worked for three years at an emergency vet clinic, which is how I learned how dangerous it can be to treat what we think is wrong with our pets.
