    In my breed, the Dobermann;

    Cancer ~ two of my Dobermanns have been diagnosed with cancer, some lines are more disposed to it than others.
    DCM ~ dilated cardiomyopathy, the silent killer in the breed.
    Arthritis ~ my current b*tch has arthritis in both back stifles.
    Joint disease ~ one of my b*tches has a ruptured a cruciate & has DJD.

    It depends on your breed of animal. Differing breeds have different common illnesses. For example gold retrievers commonly have hip problems where smaller breeds can have leg and back issues.

    It really depends on what breed of dog you have.
    I have a dalmation and they have lots of trouble with ear infections.
    I’d say with any dog you have to worry about different types of worms, especially heart worms.
