I've read from ( http://www.aboutdoghealth.org/doghealthproblems/common-dog-illness.html ) that ring worm is the most common sickness, but I am not sure. Is this true?

yes- ringworm is extremely common in household pets like dogs and cats. It also very treatable, thankfully. Another very common one is Kennel Cough. Also treatable.
