Aw Arthur! Our 11 mo. old Lab nearly did drown – she got out in the middle of a pond @ a dog park, then stopped using her back legs. Turned into a cork, and started bobbing deeper and deeper. Crowd gathered and my son had to go in after her and save her. Poor love – she’s a true swimming lab now, but back then, she just wore out.

You know what this dog would love? They make little swimming vests for dogs now. My dog is like pure muscle and when we taught him to swim, he had trouble keeping his butt up, but the little life vest really helped! This pup looks like my dog did when learning to swim. So cute.
