Do you feel stylizing & customizing dog poop bags and dispensers provides to a greater conservation effort?

Query by : Do you think stylizing & customizing dog poop bags and dispensers provides to a increased conservation work?
My neighbor recently but a personalized poop bag dispenser from this website known as Bags on Board. It attributes a photo of the two her and her pup on it, and it appears quite awesome, but what astounds me is that she is now creating a aware effort to cleanup right after Daisy (her pup). Prior to, she was fairly negligent, but now it seems a tiny coloration and customization has transformed that.

Whichever operates. I have 9 canines and think which is a waste of funds but as extended as the poop is cleaned up which is all that matters.

    Conservation? On the contrary.

From a conservation perspective … leaving the poo where it drops would be best.

Think about it – the vast majority of poobaggers wrap a rapidly biodegradable poo that could be gone in days, inside a non bio-degradable plastic bag that will last forever…

Some leading brands like Mutt Mitts say they are “degradable” … awesome – so is steel.

BIO-degradable bags would add to the conservation effort

ADD: @ DeeDawg – yep, and this c&p from their ad:

“We are constantly amazed when pet owners put 100% biodegradable and 100% Compostable dog waste into plastic bags that can take over 100 years to decompose”

LOL @ UHave2Be LOL was there some “giddy” in everybody’s coffee this morning? LOL

I have a month’s worth of dog poo I can donate. Would whoever be in need of any cat poo? I have some of that too. I have another species too, wouldn’t want any of that would you?

I can’t spend money on poop bags. I use grocery bags or a scooper.

i think adding style or flair to a previously boring or yucky thing can make it a little less awful.

personally, i pick up my dog’s poop because i hate stepping in it.
but i will admit, i did buy the poop bag dispenser to match Tank’s leash color….

i’m glad your neighbor bought the thing- sounds like a little novelty really helped her out.

Conservation? No. Using things that are already made for other purposes (as plain old grocery bags) or using paper towels that degrade quicker would prevent more “plastic” from being made.

As far as making her more concientious on cleaning up after her dog…well if it works, it works. A shame people need “designer” fancy things to be responsible.

Nope. Just another way for crazy pet parents to spend money. And no offense but who REALLY wants their picture on a bag that’s going to be used to pick up dog shyte? Think about that for a second. Your neighbor who could have simply gotten regular bags that work just fine went out of her way to put her face and her dogs face on a bag….for crap

If it makes her feel special then fine, but that’s an odd way to go about it

nope, but if a cute poopie bag holder will make someone actually carry it, they might be more prone to pick up after their pets so if thats what it takes im all for it

I had no idea there was a dog poo shortage and we needed to conserve it.

I would be happy to donate my dogs contributions to this effort!

Dog poo conservation, what will they think of next!
